Mini Mummy Pizzas

It's the topping that cannot be topped, at least in my world of pizza preferences, that is. I love pepperoni (and sausage) on thin crust...my husband and I have been doing "pizza Friday" with his Family for as long as I've known him...we typically order from the same place, one of our favorites, but it is nice to mix it up every now and then.
On a recent trip to the lake house, we kept to the Friday schedule but this time, I incorporated two of my favorite little helpers (the cutest niece and nephew in the world...not that I'm biased!) to help me with an easy homemade, mummified recipe. Let's not lie, pancakes still taste best in the shape of Mickey Mouse and this is no different... ;)

4 easy ingredients:

English muffins (or bagels, I prefer whole wheat in both)
Pizza sauce (I used Nature's Promise Organic)
Mozzarella cheese sticks
Green Olives and Turkey Pepperoni Mini's

This may be the perfect snack to make with the kids but I'll be honest, I think I enjoyed it the most ;)

If you're looking for a dessert option to match, I'm loving these mummy Oreos..how cute are they?

Recipe Idea: Design Your Own Pizza!

I love all the "Make your own ___ bars" on Pinterest (ice cream, taco, mimosa, etc) and being the creative host that she is, my Mom recently came up with the idea to do a "Make your Own Pizza" station. We look forward to Sundays during Award season because we watch the E! Red carpet together and mock those that we hate and gush over those that we love...Okay, and she's always making something delicious for us to munch on.

Here's how we designed our own Pizza's:
We each started with a blank canvas: Multigrain Stonefire Flatbread Crusts

Then came the fun part: The toppings! We had a variety of choices including artichoke, feat cheese, mozzarella, pizza sauce, bbq sauce, pineapple, olives, pepperoni and tomato slices.

This night, I decided I want to have it all so I went 1/2 and 1/2 with pepperoni and mozzarella on one side and pineapple and feta on the other. Why choose 1 when you can have both? ;)

Final product:

What toppings would you go for?
