Because We Have Fun on Set...

For our fall photo shoot this year, we were lucky to be joined by Matthew VanGronigen, a talented upcoming videographer. 

As a friend of a friend, Matt had reached out to us a few months back letting us know that he was impressed with our sites and would love to work with us on some media pieces so we started with a fun behind the scenes look.

Here is a peek behind the shoot...

It's a great feeling to work with fellow aspiring entrepreneurs and support each other's talents because there's a mutual understanding of how hard we all work to fuel our passion.

Especially in the fashion and blogging world, it can be demanding to stay creative in the midst of so much inspiration so it's important to recognize those who share these same struggles and triumphs.

Because We Had a Fall Photo Shoot

As we mentioned, we recently shot some fall photos for Because I Shop Too Much with Neil Pili Photography in Chicago.  He is extremely talented (and even better, fun to work with) so we are super excited to share the finished products with you!

We loved being able to debut some of our favorite fall trends: black and white, leather, army green, animal print and a gorgeous floppy hat...

Behind the Scenes: Fall Photo Shoot

We recently headed into the city for a Sisters Marie fall photo shoot. We worked with the very talented Neil Pili (yes, again...we love his work!) and we were thrilled with his new studio space. It's stunning with all of the exposed brick, a full (stocked) bar and comfortable yet modern seating areas (think West Elm meets Ikea).

We were also joined by a videographer (video coming soon!) who did some behind the scenes looks for us that we look forward to sharing with you.

We have so much fun shooting with Neil...

After the shoot, we headed over to a great bridge and graffiti wall for a few impromptu photos and video clips with both gentleman. Thank you both for doing this with us in the rain and putting your lives in harms way by standing in oncoming traffic for the sake of a great picture...THAT is dedication ;)

Behind the Scenes: Photo Shoot

We recently did a photo shoot with Neil Pili Photography for some updated PR and BISTM/BTGTF pictures. We went with two different looks, (plus various different jackets and blazers) to highlight some of the spring/summer 2013 trends.
