3 Benefits of Using Night Cream

Most of us consider a moisturizer part our daily routine. We rely on its hydration and SPF as much as we do brushing our teeth or combing our hair. But when it comes to a night cream, many of us wonder, "is that really necessary?" Much like mammograms, it seems like one of those things you can put off until you're older. You think, "I'm in my late 20's/early 30's, there's no need for any more skin TLC." Right?

But as we know, the earlier we protect ourselves from damage, the better. Remember all those stupid sunscreen-free days at the beach? No matter how many times we were told, we did it anyway. Because let's be honest, there's nothing like a real Summer tan....but there's also nothing as horrific as skin cancer. With that said, we figure there's no reason not to engage in the benefits of a night cream. Apart from keeping your skin well-hydrated, many contain excellent anti-aging properties like retinol which fights wrinkles and fine lines.

Now that you've decided to try a night cream, how do you pick one? When you walk into Sephora or Ulta, the selection is overwhelming. You can start with a brand we recently had the pleasure of trying. Marie d’Argan Night Cream is a revitalizing treatment that is formulated to repair and rejuvenate the skin while you sleep. Outside of its physical benefits, the brand also pays it forward: They formulate their products using argan seeds hand-picked by a women’s co-op based in Morocco. The best of these seeds are then cold pressed through a micro filtration process to create 100% pure argan oil, used as the main ingredient throughout the entire line.

After trying the night cream, we both have woken up with super soft skin and haven't noticed any irritation. It smells nice, feels good on your face and makes us feel better knowing we are getting the following while we sleep:

3 Benefits:

Argan Oil: rich in high levels of Vitamin E, this oil strengthens skin, while fatty acids work wonders to erase skin imperfections. With astonishing healing, conditioning, and anti-aging properties, this oil creates a nourished and moisturized complexion without a greasy residue.

Hyaluronan: naturally found in the body, this acid is an important part of connective tissue, and plays a critical role in skin health with its unique ability to hold in moisture and stop skin from loosing its elasticity.

Royal Jelly: a substance produced by bees, this animal byproduct contains high concentrations of major proteins, amino acids, and emulsion that protect skin from dehydration and premature aging.

Do you use a night cream regularly?
Have you seen benefits over time?
