The Ultimate Summer Jumpsuit

If this isn't the outfit of a woman who's ready for a vacation, I don't know what is. This is me like, "bags are packed and I'm halfway to the beach with a drink order on deck." This is another look from my Trunk Club experience so if you needed further proof that their stylists are right on the money, this is it because I am in love. This jumpsuit is one of those rare items that feels like it was made for me. Minus the unavoidable "jumpsuit ass" that's inevitable with one piece styles (sorry guys, no can fix), it fits like a glove and works for so many situations. Dress down with sandals, up with heels... Not to mention, I'm obsessed with the bow accent and cropped length. WINNER.

Plans include a lot of time at the lake house, a girls weekend/bachelorette party, a fun wedding with friends and attacking our home to-do list with my hubs. Imagine this: Your doorbell rings, you find a large box sitting on your doorstep. Upon unwrapping the elegant packaging, you find a beautiful collection of seasonally-appropriate clothes and accessories, all handpicked for you. Eyes grow wide and wonder sets in: Can this really be for me? But the real impact is made when you try on every item and realize the fit of each piece is virtually custom tailored for your body type. This, my friends, is the Trunk Club experience...

 Ladies (& gents), I had been wanting to try the service for a while but always figured, I enjoy the process of shopping for and selecting my own clothes. But with my current crazy schedule and a recently cleaned out closet, I figured it was a great time to hand over the job to the pro's. On that note, the whole process starts by chatting with one of their stylists to discuss your style, preferred brands, sizes, etc. Then, before the trunk gets shipped out, you receive a preview with the opportunity to change anything out.

When the box arrived and I tried on the items, my worst fear came true: I liked almost EVERYTHING! The pieces are super high quality, putting some of my F21 pieces to horrible shame. Trying to be budget conscious (you're welcome, hubby), I picked out a few staple pieces that I know would remain timeless over the coming years and would allow me to get the most wear out of them. This process also gave me the chance to try a few different items that I wouldn’t normally pick out for myself, like this shirt for example. I probably would have seen this in a store and thought, that will be too short on me or this will not work with my chest ;) However, I ended up LOVING it and can picture myself wearing this to everything from a Summer fest to date night. 

 Keep in mind, if you don’t love something in your trunk or you need a different size, you have 10 days to send it back or exchange it. There are no subscription or styling fees and shipping is always free! You only pay for the items you decide to keep…but buyer beware, you will most likely want to keep it all so have your willpower in check because this isn't the most economical venture :)

Ready for Rompers

You know that feeling when the first leaf of Fall turn colors and you rekindle a connection with your favorite cozy knit? The same sense of something new kicks in when we transition to warm weather and suddenly, bohemian maxis, spring dresses and flirty rompers are the cool kids once again. After months of hibernation and binding layers, I feel like a new women with bare legs and open toed shoes. I love the change of seasons but guys, I was MADE for warmth...you should see this smile across my face.

You all know I love a good romper (especially when they actually fit us tall girls!) and this floral style is the perfect answer for those, "what am I wearing tonight?" questions. With heels and a statement bag, you’re dressed just right for wine night with the girls...If you’re going for a more casual vibe, you can easily swap in flats or sandals with a tassel to keep the boho style a little more effortless. Sweaters, beware…I’ve moved on and may never be coming back ;)

In other news, I'm totally in love with this white denim jacket...it's the perfect fit and goes with virtually all of my Summer wardrobe. Probably should start working on a tan so you can tell where my skin ends and the jacket begins... ;)
