Rocked it & Swapped it

One of our favorite shops near the family lake house is E Street Denim (the original jean fitters), so we try to make a stop whenever our wallets allow because if we could, we would leave the owners with nothing but bare walls ;) On a recent trip during a denim promotion they were running (donate jeans, receive 20% off), we both eyed this sweater at the same time and knew it was a necessary  purchase.

Instead of spending the money twice, we decided to purchase one and share/swap it…we are both suckers for neon and the high-low hem works for both our body types so it was a win-win. It is so much fun to shop with a friend knowing if she buys something you like, it’s only a matter of time before it ends up in your closet too.

Lisa styled the Aztec style for winter with distressed blue jeans and a budge wool coat which was a great way to stay warm and dress up the sweater. I wore the sweater to the Nashville concert (see evidence of our obsession here) and switched it up by going with a monochrome look with gray jeans, black booties and a pop of neon underneath. It was a great choice for an unusually cool Chicago night in May but when you think about it, does the weather ever surprise any of us in the Midwest? #JustAnotherDay
