Weekend Wear Winning

Guys, I have a confession to make: I wore this outfit twice over the weekend and I'm not going to lie...I probably would have tried to go for a third if I didn't think my husband would start to wonder. If we're talking about the kind of business where comfy meets trendy, this chambray romper is the CEO.

Last year, Lisa wore it in its original sleeveless state but I've had this obsession lately with the idea of a striped shirts and overalls so I thought it would be fun to throw a t-shirt on underneath to mix it up. Since everything else was neutral, I threw in red sunnies and a matching lip to keep it playful. In a way, this reminded me of an adult version of an outfit I would have worn as a kid...think that's what made it so fun. P.S. I also wore it over 4th of July weekend as a swim cover-up...what can't this thing do?! ;)

This romper has the weekend written all over it...
Add it to your closet before Friday by shopping my entire look below and remember, you can shop all our posts right here anytime!

Rocked it & Swapped it

Anyone other ladies feel like a chambray addict these days?
We are most definitely guilty! After finding a jumpsuit that fits us both perfectly (sisterhood of the traveling chambray, anyone?), we immediately fell victim to the dangerous relationship with this fabric and style. Style it with colorful heels or pair with wear-with-everything gladiator sandalsThis summer staple is the equivalent of pajama's gone chic and in no way is that depressing ;)
With all of the remixing we do, we are always looking for new inspiration.
Take a few style notes from a few fellow fashion bloggers...

Rocked it & Swapped it

Kaitlyn has this beautiful light chambray top from H&M that she wore to her wedding hair and makeup trial last month. This type of top is great when worn alone as a shirt, but it is also really cute when worn as a light-weight coat for spring weather.

I decided to layer it over a great maxi dress when we were shopping over Memorial Day weekend.

Here is how we both styled this H&M top:

Do you own a chambray top? I have two, a dark (similar) and medium (similar) colored one but now I want a light colored one too! Versatility at its finest.

Rocked it & Swapped It

I love a good shirt dress and Lisa's chambray version from Urban Outfitters fits all the right criteria: Can be worn casual or dressy, belted or loose, boots or flats, winter or spring. Lisa paired it with grey boots and bare legs, whereas I went the tights route (a necesssity when you're 5 inches taller!)

Here are a few of our other favorite chambray dress looks:

What do you think? Belted or Un-belted? Knee-high boots or booties?
